Why Vibe City church?
We named our church Vibe City Church because we want to leverage a unique environment to pursue the lost and disinterested genuinely. To do this, we need to offer a church experience that is real, relevant, and relatable to first-time guests and long-time Christians looking for a church to call home. A vibe is all about the atmosphere, and we want to create a church experience full of expectancy where people's faith can thrive no matter where they have come from.
Our Vision
To create a unique environment for people to discover their God-given purpose and leverage that purpose to influence the culture of Atlanta.
Our Mission
To love the city of Atlanta until it looks like Heaven, by introducing the city to Jesus and helping everyone grow in their faith.
Our Pastors
Pastor Genaro “PG” Lawhorn is a passionate preacher, visionary leader, and devoted servant of God with a lifelong calling to ministry. With a heart for gospel clarity and cultural relevance, PG is committed to delivering God’s Word in ways that inspire transformation and encourage perseverance through whatever life throws at you.
As the founder and lead pastor of Vibe City Church, PG is on a mission to “Love Atlanta until Atlanta looks like Heaven!” Alongside his wife, Neosha, they seek to create an environment where people feel welcome, valued, and known as they pursue their God-given purpose. PG’s ministry is characterized by his ability to connect deeply with his audience, blending relatable teaching through biblical exposition, leading to practical steps of faith.
Technically, PG is Dr. G! His educational achievements include a master’s in Christian leadership from Dallas Theological Seminary and a Doctor of Ministry in expository preaching and teaching degree from Liberty University’s John W. Rawlings School of Divinity.
Beyond the church, PG is a devoted husband to Neosha (Lady Lawhorn), his partner in ministry and life. Together, they serve as a dynamic duo, creating a culture of authenticity, fun, and faith within Vibe City Church. Their leadership is marked by a commitment to meeting people where they are, as they are, and fostering a sense of family and belonging. PG and Lady Lawhorn model a life of faith, love, and joy that resonates with their community. Together with their three kids, they are committed to building His church!

What we believe
-
The Holy Bible, and only the Bible, is the authoritative Word of God. It alone is the final authority in determining all doctrinal truths. In its original writing, it is inspired, infallible and inerrant.

II Peter 1:20-21
Proverbs 30:5
Romans 16:25-26
-
Jesus Christ is God the Son, the second person of the Trinity. On earth, Jesus was 100% God and 100% man. He is the only man ever to have lived a sinless life. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, performed miracles, died on the cross for mankind and thus, atoned for our sins through the shedding of His blood. He rose from the dead on the third day according to the Scriptures, ascended to the right hand of the Father, and will return again in power and glory.

The Holy Spirit is manifested through a variety of spiritual gifts to build and sanctify the church, demonstrate the validity of the resurrection, and confirm the power of the Gospel. The Bible’s lists of these gifts are not necessarily exhaustive, and the gifts may occur in various combinations. All believers are commanded to earnestly desire the manifestation of the gifts in their lives. These gifts always operate in harmony with the Scriptures and should never be used in violation of Biblical parameters.
